Celebrity Drinks Package Upgrade

We have the complimentary! classic drinks package for our Celebrity Eclipse cruise to the Fjords in May and are considering upgrading to the premium package.

 

Does anyone know how much the upgrade will cost and how you set about doing it?

In the US (I see you are in the UK) it is $12.65/person/day ($11 + 15%). You can call your travel agent to upgrade but you will have to upgrade both passengers. If you only want to upgrade one of your passengers, wait until you board and ask at a bar.

We upgraded for $11.50 per person per day ( $10. 00 difference in package price plus $1.50 gratitude). Call Celebrity and they will take care of it or do it once you get on the ship.

If you are in the UK you cannot upgrade before you board (I have spoken to 3 people at Celebrity about this :( ).

 

I was quoted $11.50 by one agent and $12 by another, but it is possible it could increase before you sail ,although unlikely according to the agent I spoke with.

 

We purchased $350 of on board credit because of the favorable exchange rate celebrity are offering on their $25 OBC 'gift cards'. Since we are sailing in 7 weeks we thought it was unlikely to go up in that time.
