Miami airport check in

I have read somewhere that you can check in at the airport. Is this true, has anyone ever done this? I am traveling with a group of 12 and arriving in Miami at 11:30, this may be beneficial to us.

Wouldn't that be up to the cruiseline? I'd check with yours for your specific itinerary and boarding date.

I know all lines don't do that.

Carnival has a desk set up in the baggage claim area inside MIA; you are still responsible for transporting your bags to the port and handing them off to one of the porters. Good luck!
