Who were the hotel director and the cruise director? Also do you know if Toni and Pearl are still the hosts in the Casino? Thanks in advance. jeri:)

As of 3/17 the Hotel Director is Ignacio Garcia, the Cruise Director is Julie, and Toni and Pearl were not the Casino Hosts.

I just got off the Jewel on 3/24. Is there anything in particular you want to know? Maybe I can help?

Hi, how was your cruise in it's entirety? Was any Dining Room open for lunch on Port days? How was the entertainment?

We're leaving on her 4/21 for a nice long 17 night cruise. All information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Extremely friendly and helpful. Honestly I felt that the food in the main dining room could definitely use some improving. I wasn't alone in my.thinking that. We were part of a group of 8 and everyone felt the same way. I thought the specialty restaurants were very good cagneys, le bistro and mamas were the ones we tried. I'm not sure if the main dining room was open on port days because we weren't on the ship for lunches on port days. The entertainment was good. Don't go in expecting extravagant Broadway style shows and you wont be disappointed. The duo onboard were great, very talented. The comedian was very funny and the comedians/magician was pretty good too. The Cirque show is entertaining. With the limited space in the theater its hard to do a true Cirque show but I thought it was pretty good. If you have any other questions I will do my best to answer them.

Hi ~ Thanks for taking the time to post! We never go on any cruise expecting B'way entertainment or 4 Seasons cuisine....If it's pretty good in most dining venues and the entertainment is pleasant, it's all good. We've been on the Jewel a couple of times and were quite pleased. In fact, a lot of the food in the MDR was very good...Dessets, not so great, but...there's always ice cream;).

I'm sure we'll have a wonderful time. We always find the positives and never look for the negatives.

Thanks again ~:)

Stay safe.

That is certainly the right attitude to have. The Jewel is a wonderful ship and I'm sure you will have a wonderful time.
