Ft. Lauderdale car rental?

Will get off the Caribbean Princess on 10/15, and staying at the Seminole Hard Rock that night...is there a car rental company that would pick us up at the pier and allow us to return at FLL airport on Sunday?

 

It seems this would be easier then shuttling to the airport (and paying) then picking up our car...

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Rental Car companies are at or near the airport. Their shuttle vans can pick you up at the pier, bring you right to the car desk, you do the paperwork and off you go. Alamo/National is probably the closest and it is off-site about 2 miles from the airport.

Things have probably changed since your last visit to Ft Lauderdale. Alamo and National are now on-site at the aiport. In fact all of the car rental agencies are under one roof at the airport in the new car rental terminal. Budget still has an office between the airport and Port Everglades where they mainly keep their overstock vehicles. ;)
