Beach Day

You have 3 main options with varying degrees of crowded - kinda like with the 3 little pigs -

Smuggler's Cove, gorgeous with good snorkeling but zero amenities.

Cane Garden Bay, large bay with 6 beach bars/restaurants and jam packed on cruise ship days.

And Brewer's Bay, home to Nicole's beach bar and good snorkeling. BB sounds perrrrrfect for you!

Yes, how crowded I can't say, but when we were staying at Myett's there was 1 ship in port and we saw several 25-person safari taxis bringing people in throughout the day. Brewer's wil have some people but not nearly as many as CGB. So if you want a lively vibe CGB, for a little lazier day BB.

Yes, depends on sea conditions. We've seen CGB so rough we couldn't even get in the water, and other times like glass...I would say all beaches are vulnerable to that. The further north you go the wilder the waves are, Smuggler's Cove is our beach of choice on Tortola but again, no longer any amenities except perhaps portapotties so you need to bring a lunch and drinks.

Here's a map showing the various beaches.
