Rotterdam to Kinderdijk

Recommended Posts

Maybe public transport will suit you. It is more or less just 2 ferries. Check this site for information: http://9292.nl/en#

Put in departure Wilhelminakade Rotterdam to Kinderdijk Veerhaven.

Or Kinderdijk windmills.

From the ferry in Kinderdijk you can take either a but or walk for about 10-15 minutes.

Cabs are very expensive in The Netherlands.

I looked at that and it looks lovely but we would likely be going on the morning of the cruise. The Rotterdam leaves as 4 pm. I find the scheduling of the boat ride to Kinderdijk a little bit too tight.

We had the same situation. We dropped off our bags at the ship, walked to the ferry and I believe returned at 2:15. Our ship left at 5:00 so we had a little more time. I will say checkin was a breeze as no one else was in line when we arrived.
