New flight route to Oslo from Fort Lauderdale

I thought this might be interesting for some cruisers: From November this year, Norwegian starts up a direct route between Fort Lauderdale and Oslo. Prices seems to be quite ok as well.

They will also fly to Copenhagen :D

 

And there are rumours of a new route to New York (and Bangkok) by Norwegian out of Copenhagen.

 

SAS has just opened a route from Copenhagen to San Francisco and are adding 4 weekly evening departures on the Copenhagen to Newark Route (there is already 7 weekly departures)

 

SAS is also working with the Scandinavian oil companies to open a route to Houston from either Copenhagen or Stavanger (or Oslo instead of Stavanger)

Looking forward to Norwegian's NYC flight, but I hadn't heard about Ft.Lauderdale. Interesting to know!

 

But I guess there goes my cunning plan to start PetroAir flying Norway-Houston direct. :)

I think the solution would be to fly from Copenhagen, make a short landing in Stavanger to get up more passengers and then head to Houston from there.

 

 

Then they could sell some dirt cheap tickets between Stavanger and Copenhagen if people have no problems by passing immigration and pass controls at both airports.
