Laurostar Posted April 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2013 Fremantle Ports is now showing Diamond Princess visiting on 30/11/14 and 19/3/15, so it looks like she will continue her seasonal deployment to Australia. Was some talk that sister ship Saphire Princess was to take over but she is staying based in Singapore cruising south east Asia whilst Diamond is in Australia. Good to see that this quality Princess product will remain available to us

kate59 Posted April 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted April 16, 2013 So the Diamond Princess is worth sailing on? We are thinking about a Singapore to Sydney cruise later this year.

My goodness yes....we love the Diamond, we just spent 38 nights on her and didn't want to get off. Now we have to wait until December to go on her again! Kiwi Kruzer Posted April 18, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 18, 2013 I think Diamond and Sapphire are the best in the fleet, as far as the big ships go.The newbuilds since then have been the same design but have had an extra passenger deck put on them . Thus 1,000 more people to share the same public spaces.
