getting to shopping centre in Vigo

Recommended Posts

Hi

We are stopping in Vigo on our PO cruise on 30th april. We might want to visit the Gran Via De Vigo Shopping Centre. Can anyone give us directions and is it walkable from the port or would we need to get a taxi, Are there taxis at the port entrance and how much is it likely to cost.

Can we walk from the ship into town or is there shuttle buses

Any other tips on what to do and see in Vigo would be appreciated

Many thanks

We were in Vigo last October. Enjoyed our day. Not sure where the shopping centre is that you are talking about. Vigo is on a fairly steep hill from the port up. Lots of little seafood cafes and stores. Halfway up the hill nice street with lots of nice stores.

Can you be more specific about what you did and saw? We'll be there this fall and looking for suggestions. Thanks (and apologies to the OP for a slight thread drift...)

OP: since Vigo is in Spain, you may want to re-post your question in the Spain forum... (if you haven't already)...
