Where do I put my soda?

Do I carry on the water or soda i bring on or do I check it with the porter with a luggage tage?

Take it on yourself.

 

The cans - bottles - could get smashed. The luggage people don't have time to handle items like that carefully. All luggage is placed into bins to be placed onto the ship, then the bins are unloaded on the ship - in a pile. Then the luggage it moved to the various decks where your cabin steward retrieves it.

You can carry it on...or you can put it with checked luggage. Soda/water and wine can be carried on within a reasonable amount. If you are taking cases (24 cans you might be denied) for us-- each of us carried on our own 12 pack of soda.. 2 sports bottle of water (and used the water available on the ship with refills)
