Grand dining room question

Is the GDR open for breakfast? Or only for lunch and dinner.

If it is open, until what time is breakfast served? And until what time can you get lunch?

Do we wait until 45 days before our cruise to book the specialty restaurants if we are in a veranda stateroom?

One last question. On the celebrity cruises we have been on we were able to get cheese blintzes for breakfast in the buffet. Does anyone know if they are available for breakfast in the buffet or GDR on oceania? Thank you in advance.

The Grand Dining Room is open for all three meals, and although they juggle the hours to accommodate Port calls and such, breakfast is normally served from 8 AM until 9:30 AM, luncheon from 12:30 PM until 2PM (although Waves continues to serve until 4 PM), and I believe that blintzes are available in both the Dining Room and the Buffet.

If you don't see them, ask.

How far in advance you may make your reservations depends on the type of veranda cabin which you have booked:

  • Concierge Level Veranda staterooms may make reservations from 60 days to 15 days prior to embarkation.
  • Veranda, Ocean View and Inside Staterooms may make reservations from 45 days to 15 days prior to embarkation

Blintzes? We have been on ten Oceania cruises, and don't remember blintzes either on the MDR menu or at the Terrace buffet. Do remember Eggs Benedict. They have wonderful Swedish pancakes at the MDR.
