Nevertoolate Posted April 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2013 I read somewhere on this board that lobster night is the first night on the ship. Is this so and would it be on the Breakaway, also. Thx.:D
rvsullivan Posted April 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Until Breakaway sails no one knows for sure. But most/all NCL ships have been doing lobster on the first night for quite a while and I would guess they would continue.

chelle74 Posted April 25, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Our 11-night cruise on the Sun had a second lobster night on the last night, in addition to the one on the first night.
johnsak123 Posted April 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Can you order more than one lobster or is it one per person THANKS
rvsullivan Posted April 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2013 Well, it's not a lobster, it's a warm water lobster tail and at times just a half a tail combined with some fish. You can get more than one, but I don't get too excited about them, nothing like New England lobster and I get a ton of them all summer. Our local place this week has three whole lobster for $20 and thats high, so I'll wait a bit.

I had two whole tails (presented on the shell) each time. They were very good.
GORDONCHICK Posted April 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2013 We had whole tails as well. And our server asked if anyone wanted another - a few nodded. The server brought a plate of 8 more tails (there were 6 of us).
Godiva830 Posted April 25, 2013 #9 Share Posted April 25, 2013 On the Jewel in Feb it was a surf n turf dish. I ordered just the lobster tail and vegetable and our server asked if we wanted more. We didn't even have to ask. It was delicious and it was the first night.

Nevertoolate Posted April 26, 2013 Author #13 Share Posted April 26, 2013 Well, thanks to all of you - I now have a good idea of what we will eat the first night. Me - lobster - DH will be a surf and turf. I was just thinking that since we have paid to eat at the Cirque show, that they should serve a New England lobster (after all, NYC is not that far away) I just heard someone say, "Dream on"
