Grandeur in Baltimore- earliest flight times for disembarkation?

Hello,

 

We're looking at booking the Grandeur for one of the Bermuda cruises in August, which would require us to book flights to and from BWI.

 

With a scheduled arrival time at 7am, how efficient is RCCL in unloading passengers in Baltimore and how is the airport from the cruise pier to know what is a reasonable flight time to consider? Is express disembarkation an option?

 

We just sailed on Oasis in April and with express disembarkation, we were at FLL at 6:45am in plenty of time for our 11:15 flight.

the airport isn't that far away, maybe 20 minutes?

 

the self disembark seems to have a LOT of people utilizing it and the line does get pretty long.

 

that being said, we are always in the first group called after self, and we are home( including a side trip to our favorite mom and pop cafe for breakfast) by 930-1000.

 

we live 20 minutes from Port.

BWI is 20 minutes from the port if there are no traffic issues. If you arrive back in Baltimore during weekday rush hour, you must allow extra time for that. That said, if you do express walk off, you should be able to make a late-morning flight without any problems.
