1st time to st thomas

With no kids a great day would be either some time at Sapphire Beach or a day sail out of Sapphire Marina with New Horizons or Yacht Nightwind (you'll find these operators and others on vinow dot com or can google them).

Then a couple hours at Paradise Point for the view.

But note that if you're looking for shopping St Thomas may be your best choice for duty free shopping.

I posted this in response to your first post -

There are several but suggestions would be much more useful to you if you listed any activities you're interested in or if you're just looking for something unique?

The East End beaches of St Thomas are beautiful vs Magens which many feel is over-rated;

Paradise Point is a great spot to admire the magnificient fiew of the harbor while sipping a Bailey's Bushwacker;

The Champagne Catamaran to nearby St John is a wonderful on both the water and on St John;

Or many people prefer to do the self-excursion to St John and ferry from Red Hook to Cruz Bay to have more time on St John;

Great duty-free shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie;

There's a new attraction in CA called Magic Ice that you can google;

There's a newer zip line on Peter Mountain;

There are excellent island tours available;

Snorkeling is great either off the beach at Sapphire Beach, or around the cays on a day sail off St John.

Tons of ideas, what interests you? :)

We are pretty much open to any activites....always try to do the must do things for each port (so we have ziplined, atv-ed, snorkeled, enjoyed dunns river falls, and shopped in the past).

Since this is our first time at St Thomas/St John I am thinking we will try to do as much and see as much as possible.

A "do as much and see as much as possible" day wouldn't be a quiet day at a beach or a day sail to St John but sounds more like an island tour that covers pretty much everything is in order. Sonny Liston and Air Force One are well-known, check their sites to see if they do enough.

There's also a fast speedboat excursion and tons of other options you'll find on your cruise line excursions page or at shoretrips.com if you want more ideas to build from.
