Downtown Miami to FLL

We are staying the night in Miami after our cruise to catch a Florida Marlins game. Our flight leaves out of FLL the next day. Can anyone recommend a thrifty way to get to FLL? I usually book SAS but they cannot pick up from the hotel to go to FLL, they only have a permit to pick up from POM for passengers actively deparking a ship. :( Instead of having to lug all our bags back to POM (and pay a cab to get there), I'd like to find a transportation shuttle that will pick up at our hotel (IC).

If you are staying at or near MIA you can ride the Tri-Rail to FLL (free shuttle bus from the rail staion to the FLL airport) for $5 each or less:

Check with QLS (www.qualitylimoservice.com ) and American Shuttle

(www.americanshuttle.com) for shared shuttle service -- but expect to pay double or more compared to the normal POM to FLL fare. :eek:

 

Taxi will run about $85 :( -- you could also rent a car one way from MIA to FLL. Good luck! :)

Thanks so much! We are staying downtown but I was able to book with MJS Transport for $13 a person and they will pick us up at our hotel. Much cheaper than a taxi! :)
