Was on a Carnival cruise three weeks ago and based on what I saw formal nights,that top will be just fine to wear.And I really love that top!

I got it yesterday it is nicer in person, it is a rayon knit,so lightweight, and it has a print on it but the sequins are silvery. It is really comfy too

Love the colors and it is nice and shiny. The fact that it is comfy is a nice bonus. I find a lot of the glittery stuff is not comfortable.

Love the top, and I would wear it also on formal, elegant night whatever you want to call it. It looks really nice with the black pants and I might even order one..Good job:)

I would say wear whatever makes you happy and that the the self appointed 'fashion police' should do the same. After all you are very unlikely to run into these people, or the people on the ship ever again so why worry about what they think. You have paid to go ony your cruise for you own enjoymenbt - not theirs. We all have different tastes and lifestyles. Go and enjoy yourself and stop worrying about pleasing other people - you only need to please yourself. Hope you have a great cruise.:D

I think with flowing black pants it is fine, especially being in a wheelchair. My mom is older but she also does not wear dresses (I generally don't wear pants very often) and she wears sparkly and beaded tops with black pants and is fine - what she plans to wear on Celebrity - I will be in a gown or 2 or 3 (as 3 formal nights).

I have been on several Carnival cruises and I think this top would look great with a pair of black dress pants and a glitzy necklace! Go for it....it's your choice. I have seen people come to formal night in Tee shirts.....I don't judge them! You will look beautiful just being yourself!
