1stcruise_Alaska Posted May 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2013 We're taking a land cruise to Alaska on HAL in July with our 5 and 7 year old sons. I've looked into the carseat regulations, and we'll definitely need to bring carseats. Hopefully we can switch our 5 year old to a booster by then (he's tiny). But...will we have room to store the carseats in our (small, interior) cabin? Or is there someplace else on the ship to store them? Thanks, Laura

If a cruise tour your traveling by train or bus and no car seat is required. If renting ask if the rental company supplies them.
cb at sea Posted May 5, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2013 You will have to keep them in your cabin....in a corner, under the vanity....you'll find a place!
c-cruise Posted May 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2013 On HAL we have always been able to fit them in at the bottom of the closets. Sometimes requires moving life preservers around, but we have always got them in. Will definitely help for space if the 5 year old is in a backless booster. A booster would fit under the bed, but we haven't had luck with getting car seats under there. Not sure if you are bringing a stroller, but we have always been able to get ours under the bed.
