Registerimg for Pre-check

My husband and I have been approved for Global Entry and used it successfully. I had read that if you were approved for Global Entry, you could then apply for Pre Check to avoid long lines at Security at certain US Airports. I thought that I had registered, but never received an acknowledgement. Has anyone else applied and if so what was your experience?

Pre check is wonderful. You need to make sure that your global entry number is entered into your airline reservation to be considered for pre check. It is not guaranteed that you will get it just because you have global

Entry. Also, I don't believe it works for cruises only for air travel .

We just showed our Global Entry sticker in the passport and straight thru--slick!!
