No, I have never been there but am curious why you would be staying in Webster rather than Galveston.:confused:

Actually, we are so very excited Webster is a pre-Galveston stay....webster 1 night, then Galveston 2 nights, then cruise. We decided to go down a day earlier and had already booked 2 nights in Galveston and the motel in Galveston would not give us the same rate for the 3rd night, as I got a super deal on it already....so.....we decided to stay in Webster the 1st night.....we just want to be on vacation, anywhere but here, so it is kool with us....do you know anything about it? Would appreciate any Texas-tips if you have them :);)

You will be at NASA, the space center, when you are in Webster, make it a point to visit, they have a great product. In Galveston, do Moody Gardens or visit the Strand or just beach it. Gaido's for food; enjoy our Texas Gulf Coast.

I don't think the hotel is on the water but near by in Kemah there are several nice resteraunts that you can sit outside and watch sail boats sail out into Galveston Bay. I personally am not a fan of Gaido's but everyone has different tastes. I do know a lot of people that really like it. Like the previous poster said, there is also NASA to tour which is in that area. Hope you enjoy you precruise stay!:D

We stayed at the Extendstay across the road from Nasa it was good value

Also Recommend a trip down the road to Kemah and the boardwalk there.
