Cheers Bob - I have lost your email

Hi Di

I've read here somewhere that the way to keep your frig colder is to allow the air to circulate around it so it's best to keep the cupboard door in front of it open a bit.

Not sure if the frig is always behind a cupboard door but that's a hint if it is.

What we do -

1. Leave the cupboard door open if the layout of the cabin makes this convenient.

2. Ask the cabin steward to keep the ice bucket full of ice. We put our bottle of wine in the ice bucket in the fridge.

If you have one of those soft-sided cooler bag that people take when they go to the supermarket, maybe you could put that in your fridge with ice in it and the cans nestled in the ice. If your cooler bag isn't watertight, maybe you could take a plastic container (an empty 4 litre icecream container or a larger rectangular container). It weighs virtually nothing an you can pack clothes in it in your suitcase.
