Ibis Heathrow

We will be landing at 10:45 p.m. so I'm assuming it will be 11:30 or after before getting luggage and Customs. I don't believe the Hoppa bus will run then. What other options will we have besides taxi?

 

Has anyone stayed at the Ibis? Comments? We will be exhausted so just want an inexpensive hotel near the airport.

I'm afraid arriving that late at Heathrow is a bit of an issue for transportation - it's scandalous that the Hoppa finishes before all flights have cleared and you may be too late for the local bus that drops near the Ibis too.

 

That said, to me the only reason for staying at a Heathrow hotel is if you are flying out early the next day. You don't say what your onward plans are, but I would consider getting a private transfer into London and stay there.

 

If you really want to stay at the Ibis, a local taxi firm would likely be cheapest - perhaps you could email the hotel and see if they can suggest one (they usually have firms they use for those guests who don't want to use the widely-hated Hoppa to get to the airport :))
