Nassau- Snorkel w/ sharks or Atlantis...

debating to go with Stuart Coves to snorkel with sharks. I am certified but my finacee is not a certified diver so they wont allow her to do the dive with sharks. I wish they would allow me to dive and her to snorkel the site but they will not...seperate boats they say.

Option 2 is to go over to Atlantis and see the aquarium and do the waterpark. Looks like tickets via Carnival are nearly $200.00 EACH adult!!! sounds very high for the amount of time your in port and what you get. Anyone been to atlantis on a day pass to the aquarium and waterpark? If so do you feel it was worth all that money?

I have actually done both and I would do the snorkle trip with Stuart cove. Atlantis was something to see but I think the other trip was more unique. I can go to water parks, aquariums and fancy hotels in other places.

114.00 per adult through Carnival, i think it was 10.00 less for kids. includes access to the grounds, beaches, waterpark and aquarium as well as a voucher for lunch.

I can't seem to find this. Any way you could help me. Seems like fun and a good idea. Only thing I can find is a .5 day thing for 99 pp. Thanks

It all depends on which ship you are on and how long you are in port. If they only offer a half day then I assume you come in to port late?

On the Dream I think 8-2 ... What is it called under carnivals web sure that u booked.

thats why...you are only in port for a very short time. Figure by the time you get off the ship and to Atlantis it will be 10am ship time, 9 am local time...the waterpark doesnt open until 10am local time so that only gives you 3 hours there before you need to be back to the ship

We are doing the full Atlantis. My DH hasn't been before but I have been several times on a cruise and as a guest of the property. I think you made a good decision to get the passes. I know everyone says they are expensive, but I personally love Atlantis and love the ease of this particular excursion. We are in til 5pm and the excursion is "over" at 2 30 but we can always taxi back over to the pier if we chose. I think over 4 hours will be plenty of time on the beaches and lazy river and casino. I do not think you will regret any decision here on this beautiful island!

thanks Carbri. Yeah we wanted to check out the slides, the lazy river and the aquarium mostly. I think we should have a fair amount of time even though I am hearing it may be packed the day we are there now that schools are all getting out.
