gizfish Posted May 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2013 We have rented an OWC on Nellies and I know the description says it is for up to 6 people. We are a group of 6 adults and 3 children ranging in age from 4 to 10. All of us would never be in the cabana at the same time so seating, floating mats and amount of water given are not an issue. We are dispersed over three cabins so we won't all be arriving off the ship at the same time. 1. Will there be an issue with the extra people, or do the kids not really count? 2. Will be all be able to use the "upgraded buffet" or 3 people won't be able to? 3. How do we all get our wrist bands if each group is arriving at a different time? Thanks : )
Rare Lionesss Posted May 12, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2013 Nellies beach cabanas are really not as a "gated community" as Barefoot beach (Barefoot beach is enclosed by a wall). Nellie's cabanas are located at the waters edge to the beach, and have general access to the beach. When you arrive at Nelllies and check in one of the attendants in will issue your wristband for the buffet. You will leave them a list of names as to who will be joining you later. As for exceeding the number of permitted guest, some may not be given the wrist band for the buffet. I do recall the limit is 6. But the genaral buffet for all passengers is not too far away. Maybe you can go with your children first and have them eat. And then the rest of you can go over to the barefoot buffet. or Maybe you will get lucky and they will let the children in (highly unlikely) Good Luck Let us know. Spring Valley Posted May 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2013 We had a beach cabana on Nellie's beach last January and we had Horby as our attendant, and we had 7 in our group along with another family of 5 that was traveling with us and he gave us all wristbands for the buffet. We were not all in the cabana at the same time and some just left there bags there when they went shopping or went in the water, so it was a nice central point for everyone to check on each other for the day and for the people in the cabana to watch the others bags. It was well worth it for the day!:D Keith

flowers44 Posted June 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2013 The children will just probably not get the wristbands for the buffet. They can eat off someelse's plate.
