RCI - pullman bed mattress removable?

I was just reading on another thread about the issue of three-year-olds and the problem of where they should sleep. On carnival, you can apparently remove the mattress from the pullman bed and put it on the floor.

 

Does anyone know if the same applies to RCI cabins?

 

We were going to buy an inflatable mattress but this sounds like a better option!

I'm making sure that the room has a sofa bed instead of a Pullman bed for my 3 year old.

yes...the mattresses will come off the bed....whether there is room on the floor is another story! RCI's cabins are smaller than Carnivals, in most cases.
