Does anyone know what that blank space is across from cabin 7344? Also, what are your thoughts about that location for a cabin? Do you think it will be too noisy because of the elevator?

Not sure what that blank space is, but we had no problems with noise. There will be traffic since you are so near to the elevators, but the elevators themselves are relatively quiet. The "ding" will not reach 7344, I shouldn't think. And the traffic isn't crazy there.

 

We were on the 4/23 cruise, so we avoided Spring Break. It was very peaceful for us. Enjoy!!

Could it be the laundry that passengers can use? I read in another thread someone was looking for the deck 7 laundry as it didn't show on the deck plans.

Launderettes / Ironing Rooms

Locations - Launderettes

 

Main Deck 2 - midship / across from 2365

 

Empress Deck 7 - midship / across from 7339

 

Lido Deck 9 - forward / across from 9270

 

Locations – Ironing Rooms

 

Riviera Deck 1 – aft / across from 1425

 

Upper Deck 6 – midship / across from 6391

 

Verandah Deck 8 – midship / across from 8381

 

Hours: hours posted on the door to the Laundry

 

Function: Self-Service Launderette

 

2 or 3 washers

2 or 3 dryers

1 iron and ironing board

Vending machines dispense small boxes of detergent and water softener

Ironing Room: 2 ironing boards/irons

We used the one across from 7339. Recommend avoiding it in the evening on Port days, if possible. The showers use up so much water that the machines took forever to fill up.

I agree in regard to crew space and storage.

Maybe even service elevators also, which are used to

transport luggage, room service & so on.

Crew area or office. Laundry is on starboard side across from 7347.

Whether starboard or port, it is across from 7347. I know because I was there a couple of weeks ago. The 7339 designation will get you near enough to find it. There is a sign on the door and a smaller one hanging down from the ceiling.
