Yes I guess there is a be chef focusing on local (Florida) and sustainable. By far we enjoyed the second menu better. The lentil stew was flavorful, the cod perfectly cooked (though the mustard sauce was a little sweet for me) and the short rib was amazing.

Also if you can get Elisabeta for your server you will be well taken care of. She is the best. :D

Down on the promenade, Marie is scavenging through the ten dollar tee shirts.

What I failed to mention is the weather for these last two at sea days has been great, so much for the stormy forecast. Forecasting the weather is the only profession where looking good is more important than being right.

The seas have been calm, little winds and some cloud cover at times to keep it from getting too hot.

Sort of my question too - was the breakfast menu at Wipeout much different than at Johnny Rocket's?
Have you been able to keep your cabin cool enough? We'll be staying in a similar cabin to yours, only a few doors down, and like our cabins cool.:)
Cool enough, yes. Too cold, yes. :D

Oops I hit submit. We have had to adjust the AC down more than up, so no worries.

The menus are similar. At Johnnys you order everything off the menu. Wipe out it is buffet style except for ordering eggs

Thanks. When we were on Allure in 2011, Wipeout was not open for breakfast. It's a good idea, hopefully it helps to lessen the breakfast load on Windjammer. Edited by clarea

Also it gives you the option to have a table out on deck. That is the part I liked.

I am enjoying your reports. When we did a back to back on the Allure in Oct. 2011 we had breakfast outside at Johnny Rockets a couple times. It was a very popular place.

Some of my photos from these large cruise ships, Disney Dream, & Norwegian Epic make the Cruise ship look like it's tilting in one direction and maybe another at the same time. The Allure looks like it is tilting toward the pier and the funnel seems to be tilting toward the water. :):):):)

Don't know if ne'er was intended as short for "never do well" or "not ever".

I am SO glad to hear this, we board tomorrow and I'm hoping for decent weather. Overcast is fine, but rain is never fun on a cruise.... great review!
