dcipjr: The water front is perfect for a morning stroll. Actually I have a video on day 7 of a morning stroll there. It is actually a very long walk, keep an eye for the video, I know its a long wait for day 7. But I promise you, you will love the video, I do a little narrative as well.

vcinsanity1523: Yes there is a pager and I think it works ship wide. I never tried any of the bars, I bought those two bottles. But I think I would of like shakers or maltings on the waterfront. They seem to be my kind of place.

We were on a private day sail to St. John a few years back. While snorkeling at Peter Bay I had my underwater camera in my front pocket. I reached for the camera and managed to catch the latch to the battery compartment, while underwater. Needless to say I was a little upset then also... :eek:

 

 

Another time I was inserting an SD card into the reader on my laptop. Not sure how it happened, but something crossed/shorted during the process and wiped out the card (could not recover the data). Had some great underwater shots there as well (at least that I had previewed on the camera).

 

Seems I have problems with UW cameras! :(

 

Keep up the good work.. and I'll even give you a pass for working a couple long shifts and ignoring your real responsibilities! ;)

Loving the review! The dessert pictures look fabulous! Though I'm confused how they sell 1 cannoli- cannoli is plural! If you only get 1, they need to change the sign to cannolo.

 

Sorry the meal at La Cucinia was underwhelming. The appetizer menu looks so GOOD. (Actually, I feel that way about most of the places- I just want appetizers!)

Speaking of books like the previous poster, I wonder if someone could put just your posts into a pdf that could be downloaded and read as a whole piece without the extraneous comments. Someone did this a for a review of the NCL Star last year ('Starry Nights' NCL Star to Bermuda I think it was called) and made for some great and easy reading. Just a thought.

I'm reading TOO MANY reviews at the moment so I'm probably wrong on the source, but I think SliceofLife's review said she was quoted 30 minutes so they went to a bar. 45 minutes later they went back to the restaurant and they had given the table away! :eek: the restaurant apologized and they were seated right away. Not sure if pager didn't work that far away OR if the staff called the wrong pager.... But, I do remember others saying the pagers worked ship wide...I would think they are similar to the pagers given to parents when they drop off kids at splash???? Those would have to work ship wide.

Gambee first off thanks so much for all your information. My partner, and my three grandkids sale on the 23rd of June and I'm counting the days. Its so much fun reading all about the ship before we head out.

I do have a silly question. On one of your quick FB posts I believe your last day in Bermuda you mentioned going to run to the casino. Did I screw that up or is the casino open on port days? I'm running in six different directions lately so I could have my days mixed up.. :D

I never knew that about the cannoli. The appetizers were pretty tasty, but the main dish was not. Sometimes I think the same way as you, about only having appetizers.

Well thank you. You know I am thinking on opening a blog and do it there. That way all the comments can be bypassed. But the comments a lot of times trigger my memory. So I sorta need them while I am in the writing process.
