The Sun shines in Alaska

I am finally back home after two fantastic weeks May 20-June 3 on the Sun. What a staff. The service I received exceeded all expectations. Even had a change of Captains beween cruises. All the Officers at one time or another took their to address me. And every time they gave me their fullest attention. They listened. They know how to communicate. They know how to lead by example. My hats off to Mr. Jacobson Hotel Director, Mr. Lozano Food and Bev Director, Mr Traggett Foof and Bev Manager, Mr. Thrugood Executive Chef and Mr. Garcia Casino Host. I hope I remember your names and titles correctly.

I also would like to thank the front desk staff and secuirty for handling a private matter and a least letting me to be able to tell my story first. I got Christina again as my cabin steward and she listened too. Because of your correct decision (and not just letting a little old lady tell a story) I made it home. It just took an extra day. Thank you once again for a wonderful time.

P.S. The food was great, did not go to the shows. I was at the Outdoor Cafe most of my cruise. I saw everything my immagination would allow. We had 14 days of sunshine (ok it rained a little) and snow capped peaks.

Me again. Why do people cruise. To be pampered? To see the sights? To say that they cruised? To travel? To brag about their expierence? How about all the above. But the best thing about cruisin is talking to other cruisers and her about their cruise expierence. Talk to the crew and see where they just came from. Get an opinon. If you want them to listen to you, you must listen to them. That is why I had a great time on the Sun.:D
