Question on cruisetour

Thinking about taking a cruisetour of colonial America and than taking a 7 day cruise of Canada & New England in Sept 2014. Has anyone taken a cruisetour of colonial America and if you did how was it? Thanks for any info on this. mrbill Tracy ca

Sorry Tracy I meant the actual tour company and what ship. I lived in New England for over 30 years. I have been all over the place and did a NE/Canada Cruise. I never heard of a Colonial American cruise tour.

The OP is referring to a Princess cruisetour and there are several. One is called Historic America, the other Maple Explorer. These are for Oct. 2014. If it posts, here's one of them.

We met a couple recently at a meet and greet who had done the Colonial America cruisetour and said they really enjoyed it....we did the Maple Explorer last fall and it was fantastic.

These cruise tours are interesting but IMHO, the dates should be reversed. The late October tour means that most years, fall foliage will be well past peak. Peak in Canada and northern New England is usually around the 2nd week of October. Plus, it'll start getting cold. I'd prefer to do the northern tour earlier and the southern tour later.
