joshd33 Posted June 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2013 If you don't have early saver, is there any reason to keep checking rates AFTER final payment? Thanks! -Josh

Rare Keith1010 Posted June 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2013 At that point just forget about it and look forward to the cruise. Keith
michiganredrose Posted June 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2013 If a higher category than yours drops, you could pay the difference to upgrade. I would still check for price drops because of that.
SmooCruise Posted June 15, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2013 I thought you could get OBC if the price drops after final payment?

sjcruiser Posted June 16, 2013 #9 Share Posted June 16, 2013 Although Carnival has written guidelines that pertains to each rate booked, I have never booked ES, and have upgraded, and received OBC when booking PG or Military rate on every cruise, after final payment. I have also paid to upgrade, or had my booking rate changed by the Carnival representative in order to get the best rate, or the rate I was/am looking at when I call. I think Carnival makes too much a big deal when booking the ES rate, because although they say you won't/can't get upgrades after making final payment if you do not book ES, if fact you can/do.
