That's typical of ships when they sail out off and return to UK ports. UK law restricts them more than some other places do.
Newtoncruise Posted June 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 15, 2013 So a smoke free casino then? That sounds very acceptable all in all. Good on the UK for restricting......shame it can't be banned!
charmay Posted June 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2013 makes sense as smoking is banned in the uk in any inside area.

39august Posted June 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Indy kept these smoking areas when she returned to the states last year. I was SOOO happy to be on a virtualy smoke-free ship! Maybe Adventure will do the same when she returns.

Although it did not say Jesters on Compass it was used mostly at night hence nightclub and it stank of cigarets as soon as you opened the door so enjoy it or not,or like the cigar club enter at your peril. Hint re Jesters... use downstairs on Deck 3 - much less stinky! ;):D
Rare marielco Posted June 16, 2013 #11 Share Posted June 16, 2013 Here in Ireland we were the first country to outlaw smoking in public bars, restaurants etc.. at the time it was said all the bars would close down for lack of customers. It hasn't happened and it is so good to be able to have a social drink or a meal without having to breath in smoke and smell. I just returned from13 days on Adventure and it was smoke free. I noticed the ashtrays on the section of the pool deck set aside for smokers and a few people making use of it but the ship was free of smoke. The casino was a smoke free zone.
