Smoking policy on Adventure out of UK

Recommended Posts

Just got off the Adventure and this is the policy they put in the Compass each day.

Smoking areas around the ship

Outer deck port side ...Deck 4

Connoisseur cigar club ....deck 5

pool deck port side.....deck 11 and 12

19th Hole.....outer deck........deck 14

And of course on your balcony.

That's typical of ships when they sail out off and return to UK ports. UK law restricts them more than some other places do.

Thought I would post as it is the first time the Adventure has done a season out of the UK

Although it did not say Jesters on Compass it was used mostly at night hence nightclub and it stank of cigarets as soon as you opened the door so enjoy it or not,or like the cigar club enter at your peril.

Here in Ireland we were the first country to outlaw smoking in public bars, restaurants etc.. at the time it was said all the bars would close down for lack of customers. It hasn't happened and it is so good to be able to have a social drink or a meal without having to breath in smoke and smell.

I just returned from13 days on Adventure and it was smoke free. I noticed the ashtrays on the section of the pool deck set aside for smokers and a few people making use of it but the ship was free of smoke.

The casino was a smoke free zone.
