La Romana, DR - Fun Bar/Beach near the port???

Some of the best times we've had are when we find a local bar and/or beach and hang out for the day. What's this Port of Call like when you disembark? I don't really want an "excursion" at this stop but I want details about what to expect and what there is to do ...

You'll want to post this in the DR forum, but there's not much near the dock, you'll want to taxi to Bayahibe and enjoy the beach bars there. I would recommend the Seavis excursion to Saona Island for a really fun day
