Please recommend a hotel for pre-cruise

We plan to stay at Wakiki beach hotels for 2 nights pre-cruise early Nov. a party of 4 adults and 1 child. Two rooms or 1 suite with 2 baths would work.

I read a lot of reviews on tripadvisor and find that many hotels even the top ranked ones received some terrible comments like dirty, noisy, bad service etc. Some of those comments were a little dated, but I wonder if any one here could help us recommend somewhere that is nice, clean and quiet. Price range for two rooms hopefully is under $350 per room per night, if booking one suite for all of us, then $500 to $600 per night would be ok.

Thanks a lot.

Embassy Suites Waikiki fits your needs, should be under $300 for a one bedroom suite with breakfast and manager's reception. In a pretty good location in Waikiki.

TripAdvisor is the better place for comparative reviews. Yes, someone will always find something bad to say. We just weight the average ratings and comments, not the individual complaints.
