Princess Excursions – when can I cancel?

Have a excursion (Float Trip in Skagway) with Princess pre-booked for our 7/23/05 cruise on Coral, and are thinking of canceling it so we can rent a car and drive to Emerald Lake instead.

 

How late in the game can we cancel it without penalty?

It will be posted onboard. Usually 24 hours, some excursions 48 hours.

By 9AM the day before the excursion itself. You don't pay for the excursion until you board when it'll be charged to your onboard account. Then, you have until the morning (9AM) of the day before the excursion to turn in your ticket(s) for a credit to your onboard account.

From what I understand, though, private vehicles with guide rented through Princess and helicopter excursions are non-cancelable.
