60 more days !?!?!?

We don’t sail until mid-August. I don’t see how we can possibly wait that long.

Checked out the Qsine menu, went ahead and booked that for our first night on board.

Have a list a mile long of the all the martinis we’re going to taste, same thing

with the beers in Michaels. I’ve even looked a pictures of the casino and decided

what machines I’m going to play!

Found a sunset sail and a snorkeling excursion that both sound fun.

We’re this close to renting a little 4 seater motor boat and exploring on our

own one day. Considered and dismissed a scooter rental.

Have printed most all bus and ferries schedules. I now know where the “locals” eat and drink.

I’ve looked at the pictures of the cabin enough times that I will have no

need for a night light to make it from the bed to the bathroom in the

middle of the night. Pretty much have the layout of the ship committed to memory.

That’s it. I just had to share!

Cheers

So nice of you to share.

I think planning and anticipating a great trip may be as important as, or more important than, the trip. A great conundrum of life.

I booked 3 different nights in the specialty restaurants then I was able to 'trade' them in towards the unlimited dining package once on board, which I was able to negotiate down a hint. It was worth every penny, we had AMAZING food. BTW, we were on Reflection, had Murano 2 times, Lawn Club 3 times, Qsine once and Tuscan Grill once. Also included lunches at The Porch and Bistro on Five. Bistro in fabulous!!!

Three identical threads?? They all have different titles but are by the same poster. Is there something up with the boards?

Yes, it was about the time of the original post that CC was not happy and people experienced all kinds of problems - couldn't log in, couldn't get to boards, couldn't post, couldn't use quotes, couldn't edit. There have been a couple of threads about this on different boards.

Oh, no apology necessary. I figured something must be up, it was weird to see the three titles, then open them and find the same message.

Here is my advice--the last 60 days will go at warp speed--the days slowly but the total will fly by, so get everything done ahead of time. We took the Spring TA this year followed by 2 weeks in Europe--I thought I had tons of time, then DH's favorite aunt died in Utah, wit the funeral in Idaho, and about 12 days before we were due to leave we had to hop in the car and drive 1000 miles each way plus spend three-four days there visiting family--came back with 5 days to spare!!! A bit stressful!

thankfully we have one short trip planned for dallas next month. Tedeschi Trucks Band! that will be be great. also will be a little sumpin sumpin to look forward to between now and then.

planning excursions should eat up a little time. I guess i'll continue to devour all Bermuda and summit posts on this board!

took a cruise last year, for a friends birthday, on carnival. really looking forward to getting back to celebrity. carnival is fine, don't get me wrong. just not what we're looking for in a cruise experience.
