Extra Keys at checkin?

Why Captain?

I've never been on a cruise but we have 2 balconys booked (next to each other) and one inside cabin (opposite)! So would be awesome if that is possible x

I suspect it has to do with parties occurring on connecting balconies. And that might be especially true with college kids. Over the years I have read of people having success with getting the dividers open. Maybe some of the decisions are made on an individual basis depending on how the staff feels the people making the request will use the area.

On some ships the dividers are part of the ship's structure and are not movable.

By side facing I guess you mean along the long edge? Our 2 are along the long side x

Yes, side facing is along the long edge. Those have the capability to be opened, so just ask your stateroom attendant. It's possible that management might not allow it, but you won't know that until you ask.

Then when you ask to have the divider opened I would suggest you have your 80 something nan and 13 month old son in plain view so the staff can see just how rowdy the party will, or won't, get.:D

Hey, you never can tell about those 80 something (or even 90 something) nans and whom they will invite to the party.
