Thank you, can I also get these drinks from room service or is there a fee? If I wanted orange, or pineapple juice for breakfast do you know what the cost is?

Coffee, decaf coffee, tea (bags), lemonade, two or three kinds of fruit juice drinks/punch, iced tea, hot chocolate (packets)

If you purchase one of the beverage packages, the gratuities are added into the final cost. They will not be added on top of what you have already paid in the purchase price of the package.

Also, back to the original question, the burgers at the pool are really good burgers! It took me 2 cruises to discover them, and then I made up for it on the following 2, lol!!!

The burgers AND the hot dogs!!

I don't spend much extra on my cruises--a few souvenirs/t-shirts. There is always a shirt sale on at least one of the sea days in a lobby near the pool. The shops have various sales. I have a drink with dinner and occasionally at the pool or shows, a few casino visits, but not to break the bank. I don't drink coffee, tea, don't do acupuncture, beauty salon, specialty restaurants or other food that isn't included.

I have developed one weakness, however. I have massages every 3 wks at home (a lot less expensive, too) and really don't need an extra one. I had never used the massage service till 2 yrs ago on a Scand/Russia cruise where we did walking tours on cobblestones for 7 days. My feet and ankles were killing me. The spa set up a demo area near the indoor pool for free 5 min. massages for feet/legs, scalp or facial. I tried the feet one and had to have more. (Spa publicity people are NOT dumb, lol.) There was a sale on a 50 min. massage for all the body areas of the free ones, so I broke down and did it. HEAVEN!

I told myself that would be the last time to give in, but last Feb. I won $278 in the casino the first night and decided to blow some of it on another shipboard massage. My cousin/ cabinmate was planning to give the experience as a bday present to herself (her bday was the day after we sailed). We scheduled for the same time period. Our massage therapists were lovely young women, who did a wonderful job. More HEAVEN! Now I may not be able to resist the temptation even if I don't win the money, lol.

I have risen to a farily high level in the Captains Club and some of the benefits really come in handy.

Free laundry--up to 30 items on Carib. cruises, 20 on Europe, Alaska and other farther- away itineraries. I never have enough clothes to fill the bag so I invite my companions to chip in. It's so nice to come home with clean clothes.

1 free dry clean item. Coupon good up to the last 3 days of the cruise.

90 free minutes of internet. I don't use it much, but it's there for me and my cabinmate. Be sure to turn in the coupon early to have the charge taken off your account.

Another way to save money is to get On Board Credit (OBC) by booking a future cruise on the ship. If you don't know when or where you want to go, do a Passages Program. It's an open booking that lets you finish booking anytime off the ship and still get OBC. It's only $100 and will not expire.

Bottom line--use common sense to save the bucks. :D

Happy Cruising!

Only fresh squeezed juices cost extra, but regular orange and pineapple juice is included in your fare, be it from the buffet, MDR or room service. Even with a drink package, if you order drinks like soft drinks or alcohol drinks from room service, you'll pay separately for those. Drink packages don't include room service or the items in your in cabin refrigerator.
