HBINLA Posted June 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2013 We will be in Vancouver pre-cruise this Sunday and a day post cruise as well. Any recommendations for reasonably priced good restaurants in the downtown/west end area? Would also love one for a Chinese restaurant possibly in Chinatown. BTW, is Chinatown safe? Have read many conflicting reports. Thanks! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

It's a suburb just south of the city (I think.) That's where we are headed for our post-cruise dim sum lunch. The airport is close by.

Tweedy Posted June 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 22, 2013 Unfortunately we won't have a car. :-( We are staying off Robson in Vancouver. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app Richmond is where the Vancouver International Airport is. It is easy to get to from Downtown Vancouver too. Depending on how much time you have, you could catch the Canada Line (make sure you are on the train that says Bridgehouse not YVR) for a 25 minute ride to the center of Richmond. Unfortunately I don't eat out much in Richmond so I'm unable to give you a name of a recommended restaurant but there are lots to choose from but this is an option if you have some time.
