Oasis of the Seas - Carribean Cruise Aug 2014

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We are looking at booking a Carribean Cruise on Oasis for our honeymoon next year. Can anyone give me some tips on which deck? We have only ever cruised on IOS and we like deck 9.

Any other info would be greatly appreciated.:D

Only 9 weeks until we are back on IOS for our Spanish cruise! :)

Thanks

Michelle.

Many people mention deck 8 because it's the same deck as Central Park.

Why was your May 2013 on IOS not the best trip ?

(I'm so jealous you're going on Oasis !!!)

We are considering on going the Allure next year since she is the sister ship of the Oasis, you said you like Central Park, I assume you had balcony can you tell me which month you cruised on her and whether it was very hot when you got on the balcony? Some people talk about going during summer months and having no air flow it was very still hot air did you find this to be true?

Hi,

It just didn't live up to our previous two experiences. Not enough staff on board and long long wait at dinner and at guest relations. I was told (when I phoned to complain on our return) that you cannot compare a two week cruise to a 2 days cruise? To me it should be a good experience whatever the length of cruise.

I personally would avoid the Oasis because she goes to dry dock in Sept/Oct 2014 I never take a cruise that is scheduled for dry dock so close to the time I go.

Thank you for the tip.

M.
