CRUISING71 Posted June 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Hello, Are these activities free? I think lesson for flowrider is $ 60, but after that will it be unlimited access? Thanks, Tibbie
Rare MandyMooToo Posted June 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Yes, those activities are free other than the Flowrider lessons that you already mentioned. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Clarea Posted June 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Hello, Are these activities free? I think lesson for flowrider is $ 60, but after that will it be unlimited access? Thanks, Tibbie Just to clarify, a flowrider lesson is not required. Everyone can use the flowrider for free. Lessons are optional.
onefishtwofish Posted June 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Hello, Are these activities free? I think lesson for flowrider is $ 60, but after that will it be unlimited access? Thanks, Tibbie They are all free unless you do a flowrider lesson - they have group and private (the $60 is for group and when my son did it there were only 5 in the group so he got a lot out of it). It's not like a ski lesson where after the lesson you have unlimited lift/ski time......you just go on it in line when it's open.....there is no special "open time" after the lesson.......;)

CRUISEFAN0001 Posted June 24, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2013 While Flowrider is free...I'd recommend a lesson session. It was great to have time to not only learn how to use it...but dedicated time to enjoy it outside of the public time.

Fedechat Posted June 24, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 24, 2013 For the FlowRider, I did it on the on the Allure on the 2nd day (the class was from 8~9am), we were 7 and I did 6 round (the max. is 8ppl). They just take more time to teach you but you will learn the basic. I learned a lot doing the line, just try to make some friends, specially with the ones that know how to surf ;) My advice, go the first day (embark day), the FlowRider will be open from 1 to 3:45pm, then 5:15 to 7pm, or the others day in the morning (9~10 for advance) after 10am. Regarding the Boogie board, is pretty easy so don't waste your time there because you can't do any tricks anymore... (pretty boring) For the Rock climb or Zip Line, they open at 9am, do it at that time, the line will pretty short ;) Enjoy your vacations and don't forget the Ice Skating :D

sky0000547 Posted March 5, 2014 #13 Share Posted March 5, 2014 For the zipline make sure you have the correct footwear otherwise they will be sending you back to your cabin.
erk711 Posted March 5, 2014 #14 Share Posted March 5, 2014 For the zipline make sure you have the correct footwear otherwise they will be sending you back to your cabin. I'm assuming that will be some sort of closed toe shoes?
Clarea Posted March 5, 2014 #15 Share Posted March 5, 2014 I'm assuming that will be some sort of closed toe shoes? They don't want you wearing anything that can possibly fall off.

thjeepster Posted March 5, 2014 #18 Share Posted March 5, 2014 For the zipline you also have to be wearing socks with your shoes or they won't let you do it!

couple_cruisers Posted March 5, 2014 #20 Share Posted March 5, 2014 And ice skating requires long pants. So we did the zip line and skating all at once so we only had to have pants and sneakers on once during vaca lol Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
