scottbee Posted June 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 25, 2013 Best transfer to ship Canada place from SeaTac either same day from hotel or day before to Vancouver hotel Fastest is Horizon Air or Air Canada Express from SEA to YVR, then take the Canada Line skytrain to downtown. If you want to save some money; there's a coach service called "Quick Shuttle" http://quickcoach.com/ that has multiple per day SEA-Canada Place trips. Cost is just over $50 ea way, and total travel time is 5½-6 hrs. Other people will take the light rail from SEA to downtown Seattle, and then the Amtrak Cascades from Seattle to Vancouver. it's about the same price as quickcoach, but there's only two trains /day, plus you need to get from SEA to downtown Seattle. Putterdude Posted June 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2013 I would also recommend checking with your cruise line. Someone else posted last evening that the Princess transfer in reverse (Vancouver to SEA) was some $8 less than Quick Shuttle. I see you sail a lot with Princess and if you are doing this cruise with them and the timing works for you, it's a pretty seamless way to go. Dan G Posted June 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2013 if your going early to Vancouver then the Train is absolutely the best and cheapest. If you buy tix 14 days prior the rate is way less. Very Scenic. Next best would be Amtrak bus or Bolt bus both of which leave downtown with minimal stops. Quick shuttle is good if going from Seatac direct to pier but for general travel other options are nicer and or quicker.
