suzy_g Posted June 26, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2005 Our Christmas cruise this year has us in St. Thomas on Dec. 25th. Has this ever happened to anyone else? If so, what is the island like?
myangel Posted June 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2005 We were in St Thomas Christmas of 2003, and the shops all closed at 2:00pm. We did not do any excursions except Godfrey's tour and we had a great time, with still plenty of time to shop before 2:00.
CruisinChris Posted June 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2005 We were there this past Christmas. We had spotty rain and pretty much everything was open. Many of the shops at the Havensight pier either closed early/opened late or stayed closed but downtown pretty much everything was open. It was a busy day in town with the QM2, Sun, Disney Magic, Carnival, and HAL in town. It will be pretty much like any other visit to STT.
English Rose Posted June 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2005 Hi Chris You brought back some lovely memories there - the Sun Princess last Christmas. Sitting on Megans beach on Christmas Day was certainly one to be remembered!! This year - Serenade of the Sea and I think Christmas Day is a sea day, but not sure. You will love St Thomes - this one's my favourite.
