Kid's club age divisions on Solstice

Depending on which source I use, I get different info on how they divide kids based on their ages. We are sailing with a 5yo and 6yo, and then a 13yo and a 15yo and we were really hoping the 5/6 and 13/15 would be able to stay together. If anyone has sailed recently, could you remark on what your experience was? We are leaving in 3 weeks. Thanks!

Ages 3 to 5, 6 to 8, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, and 15 to 17.

Those ages only change if there are very few kids on board and they combine groups. But for summer sailings, when the number of kids is high, these are the age divisions they use.

There is no way they will allow a 13 year old to be in the oldest group. This is for liability/insurance reasons.

Not always the case as it depends on the number of kids on the sailing. On our Constellation sailing to the Baltics, all the kids from 11 upwards were put in the same group in the teen area with the staff. So it does depend on how many kids are on the cruise, btw, this was an August sailing.

I agree! but sometimes they let the older child join the younger group.
