Wifi on Constellation

can anyone give me any feed back on reliability and speed of the Wifi on Constellation.

 

Due to the nature of my business. I need reliabe internet to access office programs and email.

 

any comments would be greatly appreciated

Speed is generally slow.... Described by many as dial-up range

 

Where will you be traveling ..... Parts of Caribbean have very good satellite access, parts of the Baltic very poor access

 

What programs will you need to access? What equipment will you be bringing? Your own laptop? Or will you be relying on computer lounge machines (your own will be faster for email b/c you can download messages and sign off to read them

Slow makes me nervous. need to work at least two hours per day on my laptop.

 

I am in the mortgage industry and we use a very large program called encompass.

 

Looks like I am going to have to forgo cruising for the time being unitl technology catches up and vacation at land resorts with hi speed wifi.

Yes, it's not likely you'll be able to work from the ship, and two hours a day will rack up to a large fee, for service you might not be pleased with. Maybe you can find a short (4-5 night) cruise over a long weekend, so you would only be away from work for two days and that might be doable for you.
