I am having a hard time figuring out the logistics of this. How do you even decide what amount to tip and to whom? The standard recommendations about using a percentage of the price of the meal price can’t be used.

elite happy hour from 5 to 7 does start on embarkation day and that is a recent change. But they don’t serve coffees there.
I may be reading something into it that isn’t there, but in asking “what has worked” I wonder if what the OP is really asking is, how much of a tip do I need to give to get the drink I want?
To which I have no answer, because I just stick with the menu.
