I am having a hard time figuring out the logistics of this. How do you even decide what amount to tip and to whom? The standard recommendations about using a percentage of the price of the meal price can’t be used. How do you handle your other meals? This all seems complicated and awkward.

You are sailing out of Barcelona, correct? You might be able to request a kettle but normally they’re not provided unless you are sailing out Southampton

If you are in a suite you can arrive anytime and they will let you in when the doors open,which you can expect to be approx. 10 in Fort Lauderdale

Elite coffee is available at Elite coffee House breakfast—Cappuccino espresso, café latte, That starts from day two. So not embarkation day. elite happy hour from 5 to 7 does start on embarkation day and that is a recent change. But they don’t serve coffees there.

I may be reading something into it that isn’t there, but in asking “what has worked” I wonder if what the OP is really asking is, how much of a tip do I need to give to get the drink I want? To which I have no answer, because I just stick with the menu. -

If you are ok with sushi being your only specialty option, then book it but don’t look for any of the others to be open at lunch -
