Hi, if your friend wants engineering proof .... Just ask him what the profession of the people who build the ship is... naval engineers... Also, experienced captains and other officers are not stupid and they spend their life at sea, and sometimes even bring their families along. Good luck and hopefully soon he will be the one convincing others !
