Upcoming carnival cruises

I have 2 Carnival cruises booked for the rest of the year: Dream on August 24th and the Splendor out of New York on December 11th.

What I'm looking for is information on how good or bad the craps tables are on both of these ships.

I'm not expecting anything too bad because I've been on 7 or 8 different Carnival Ships and all of the different craps tables have been very similar and I find them all to be playable.

Thanks,

HHHHHEEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOO Dicenator:You will be going on the Splendor the cruise after me. We will be coming back and you will be going. We went on the Dream in it's inaugural season. Some things about it were good and other things were bad. I enjoy playing craps, but, on that ship the crew kept hasseling me. They wanted me to roll, I was the shooter, and they didn't even pay me for my prior roll. Hit one of my numbers. I had to keep calling for the casino manager. Hopefully they got better.

I am not a big fan of the larger ships. The dining room never opened on time, the service was slow. The shows are hit and miss so you either like it or don't. The comedy club was pretty nice.

Haven't sailed Dream yet, but have sailed Splendor 3 times, all while she was in Long Beach. I have to say the craps crew was pretty bad each cruise. They were not personable in the least. I always tip well and did so each time I played - their attitudes never changed. They also hassle you when handling the dice. No tapping the dice on the table prior to shooting - not even lightly and they are very strict about keeping them at eye level when tossing them. I got to the point where I didn't even want to play anymore, which I didn't, by the end of each cruise. Hope you have better luck with them or perhaps they have a better crew now, because I'd bet that they won't take kindly to your DI methods either.

On all the Carnival ships I've been on I've only had one bad crew and that was on the Pride out of Baltimore last September. I have never been hassled on any ship with the way I throw. Despite setting the dice, gripping them carefully and executing my throw, it never takes me more than 10 seconds to make the throw from the time the dice are brought in front of me. My throw is low so there is no issue with the eye height of the stickman. It appears to me that the crews are almost 100% replaced every 6 to 9 months and with all the Carnival cruises I've been on I always run across a dealer that I know from a previous cruise.

Twice I've been given grief over my notepad that I record my throws in but I got in touch with Carnival Casino Management in Miami after the first time and was told that this is not an issue with them and that I could have the casino manager call them for clarification if needed.
