Cruise to nowhere

I did it. Somewhere I have a link to my short review. I think if you click my name, then the statistics tab you can then click on the Threads Started by me and find it easily.

I think there must've been a storm down south because I'm pretty sure we ended up sailing NE from Norfolk, turned around and headed back.

It was sunny but so cool you needed a sweatshirt/jacket out on the pool deck. And we had some rough seas (we were on Triumph). If you end up sailing SE rather than NE, it could be considerably warmer. But I don't think there's any way to know where you'll sail and no way to know what to expect, weather-wise.

I personally wouldn't do it again. I really just did it so I'd be Platinum on my next cruise a couple of months later (Miracle 8-nights to Panama, Costa Rica & Belize with an aft balcony).

It's an expensive cruise for what you get. I do like sailing out of Norfolk, though. Sailed Glory to Bermuda a couple of years ago.
