SpokaneDan Posted July 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2013 Hi, planning a trip April 2013 with Explorer OTS leaving Cap Liberty, and hoping to spend 2 days after cruise in NYC sightseeing. My questions: 1. I am assuming flying in and out from EWR would be the way to go? 2. after disembarkation, what is the most economcial and efficient way for a family of 4 with luggages to get to NYC/a midtown hotel? 3. Same question for getting from NYC to EWR on departure date ? Thanks
njhorseman Posted July 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2013 EWR is most likely your best bet, but if there are significantly lower fares into LGA or JFK, don't rule them out, particularly because you're staying in NY City for a couple of days after the cruise. Most efficient and most economical ground transportation options are likely to produce two different answers. My personal preference for traveling between Cape Liberty and Manhattan and then Manhattan to EWR would be by car service.
